Diagnostic Imaging

The “Digital Age” has revolutionised the field of diagnostic imaging and Scone Equine Hospital has embraced these advances to provide the best imaging technology available for our patients. Complimenting this service is a “state of the art” Picture Archiving and Communicating System (PACS) which enables secure storage and retrieval of digital studies.

We continue to adopt the very latest technology as modalities become adapted to our equine patients. Digital imaging has greatly improved our ability to accurately diagnose, and hence appropriately treat our patients. This allows more accurate prognosis to be given.

Diagnostic imaging is a very exciting and rapidly changing field that has improved our veterinary skills and the quality of treatment for our patients.
